Eudora Welty Research Fellowship
MDAH is accepting applications for the 2025 Eudora Welty Research Fellowship. Offered in partnership with the Eudora Welty Foundation, this annual fellowship awards a $5,000 stipend to one graduate student to conduct research using the Eudora Welty Collection at MDAH for two weeks during the summer.
Medgar and Myrlie Evers Research Fellowship
MDAH is accepting applications for the 2025 Medgar and Myrlie Evers Research Fellowship. Offered in partnership with the Medgar & Myrlie Evers Institute, this annual fellowship awards a $5,000 stipend to one graduate student or a faculty member within the first five years of their academic career to conduct research using the Evers Papers and other archival collections at MDAH for two weeks during the summer.
Religion in Mississippi History Research Fellowship
MDAH is accepting applications for the 2025 Religion in Mississippi History Research Fellowship. This fellowship awards a $5,000 stipend to one student in a graduate or doctoral program at an accredited college or university to conduct research using the wealth of archival materials concerning religious history at MDAH for two weeks during the summer. This fellowship is made possible by a grant through Lilly Endowment's Religion and Cultural Institutions Initiative.
