Interested in furthering your genealogical research? Join us Saturday, March 15, at 10 a.m. for the Death Records Genealogy Workshop in the orientation room of the William F. Winter Archives and History Building. MDAH Historic Specialist William Thompson will cover death certificates, obituaries, cemetery indexes, mortality schedules, funeral home records, grave registrations and some on-line resources. Thompson will also discuss the type of death records in MDAH’s archival holdings as well as how researchers can use these records to further their genealogical research.
