Behind the Bar

Join us for an evening of Prohibition-era cocktail tasting at the Two Mississippi Museums. Guests will learn the histories of cocktails featured in the Mississippi Distilled: Prohibition, Piety, and Politics special exhibit and view cocktail demonstrations presented by certified Jackson bartender Jimmy Quinn. Refreshments will be provided by award-winning chef Nick Wallace. Tickets are $15 per person and space is limited. Face masks and social distancing guidelines are required. *Update: Registration for this event is now closed.

Jimmy Quinn is a certified specialist of spirits with several years of experience in the rigorous study of wine and spirits production, history, and presentation. He has served as a bartender in several popular venues in Jackson such as Fenian’s Pub, Hal & Mal’s, The Auditorium, and La’Finestra. Quinn currently manages his own consultation and catering company called Simply Tended and serves as the store manager of Briarwood Wine and Spirits.
