On Thursday, May 20, at 4 p.m., the Eudora Welty House & Garden will host a small beginner’s workshop on cut flower gardening with special guest Donna Yowell of the Flower Growers of Mississippi. Donna Yowell serves as the founder of the Flower Growers of Mississippi and executive director of the Mississippi Urban Forest Council (MUFC). She has led numerous educational workshops, trainings, and economic development initiatives in local floristry, urban forestry, and horticulture therapy around the state.
