History Happy Hour: Freedom Summer
Enjoy our History Happy Hour at 5 p.m. on Thursday, July 11, at the Two Mississippi Museums! This event will commemorate the Freedom Summer Project and will feature free admission, food from the Nissan Café by Nick Wallace, a cash bar, and a live performance from Chris and Pop, a father son duo. Guests can also join interactive flash tours through the museums to learn about the impact of Freedom Summer on the Mississippi Civil Rights Movement.
