Live Jazz in the Welty Garden
Join us Thursday, October 17, at 5 p.m. for the free Live Jazz in the Welty garden featuring the Mississippi College Jazz Band. Songs from Eudora Welty's record collection will be played alongside jazz classics. Visitors can enjoy games and a children’s station as well as free popcorn and lemonade. Urban Foxes will be on site selling sweets and treats. Bring a blanket or lawn chair and a snack and enjoy an evening of music and camaraderie in the garden of one of the most celebrated authors of all time.
