The Loyola Project and One Night in March Screening

Visitors are invited to a screening of the documentaries The Loyola Project (88 minutes) and One Night in March (26 minutes) at the Two Mississippi Museums. On March 15, 1963, the Mississippi State University (MSU) men's basketball team defied segregationist opposition when it played against an integrated team, the Loyola University Ramblers, in the 1963 NCAA Tournament. A Q&A session with Patrick Creadon, director of The Loyola Project, Robbie Coblentz, director of One Night in March, and the 1963 MSU team members—Doug Hutton, Larry Lee, Aubrey Nichols, and Jackie Wofford—will take place between the screenings. For more information, call 601-576-6850, or email info@mdah.ms.gov.
