MDAH Board of Trustees Meeting

At 10 a.m. on Friday, July 16, the Board of Trustees of the Mississippi Department of Archives and History will hold a regular meeting in the Craig H. Neilsen Auditorium of the Two Mississippi Museums. COVID-19 safety precautions will be in place.

Dracula Screening on the Welty Lawn
October 31, 2025, 6:30 pm - 8:00 pm

The Eudora Welty House & Garden, in partnership with the Mississippi Film Society, is hosting a film screening on the Welty Lawn. Come see the 1931 version of Dracula, to represent the caricature that Eudora Welty drew in 1933, on October 31, at 6:30 p.m. as the final event for the month-long Ghosts in the Garden Scavenger Hunt.

Free Sundays at the Two Mississippi Museums
November 2, 2025, 11:00 am - 5:00 pm

Admission to the Two Mississippi Museums is free every Sunday. This includes admission to the Hurricane Katrina: Mississippi Remembers, Photographs by Melody Golding on display through November 7. HORNE, a Ridgeland-based professional services firm, is the title sponsor of the exhibit.

Welty Wednesdays
November 5, 2025, 8:30 am - 4:00 pm

Join the Eudora Welty House & Garden (EWHG) for Welty Wednesdays beginning Wednesday, January 8. In honor of 1119 Pinehurst Street's 100-year anniversary, free admission will be offered every Wednesday, in addition to the long-standing tradition of free admission on the 13th of each month honoring Welty’s April 13 birthday.
