Join us for Stories by the Fire at 4 p.m. on Saturday, January 24, at the Grand Village of the Natchez Indians. Tommy Wildcat and Choogie Kingfisher of the Cherokee Nation will share traditional stories with visitors. Refreshments such as popcorn, cookies, hot cocoa, and hot apple cider will be served.
Admission to the Two Mississippi Museums is free every Sunday. This includes admission to the Hurricane Katrina: Mississippi Remembers, Photographs by Melody Golding on display through November 7. HORNE, a Ridgeland-based professional services firm, is the title sponsor of the exhibit.
Join the Eudora Welty House & Garden (EWHG) for Welty Wednesdays beginning Wednesday, January 8. In honor of 1119 Pinehurst Street's 100-year anniversary, free admission will be offered every Wednesday, in addition to the long-standing tradition of free admission on the 13th of each month honoring Welty’s April 13 birthday.
