Possum Ridge: Paint a Train

Join us for the Possum Ridge: Paint a Train workshop at 2 p.m. Saturday, December 13, at the Two Mississippi Museums. This family-friendly event will allow for visitors to assemble and paint a model train after a guided tour highlighting key features of the exhibit on display through December 31. Ghosts in the Garden Scavenger Hunt

Join a monthlong scavenger hunt in the Eudora Welty House & Garden. Kids and kids-at-heart are invited to go on a Ghosts in the Garden Scavenger Hunt throughout the month of October. Visitors can pick up a scavenger hunt sheet from the Little Free Library.

Dracula Screening on the Welty Lawn
October 31, 2025, 6:30 pm - 8:00 pm

The Eudora Welty House & Garden, in partnership with the Mississippi Film Society, is hosting a film screening on the Welty Lawn. Come see the 1931 version of Dracula, to represent the caricature that Eudora Welty drew in 1933, on October 31, at 6:30 p.m. as the final event for the month-long Ghosts in the Garden Scavenger Hunt.
