Sunday Screening: The American Revolution

Join us for a screening of The American Revolution: A Film by Ken Burns, Sarah Botstein, and David Schmidt at 2 p.m. Sunday, October 19, in the Craig H. Neilsen Auditorium of the Two Mississippi Museums. This forty-five-minute preview of the six-part, twelve-hour documentary presents the story of the men and women of the Revolutionary generation, their fight for independence, and the birth of the United States. Following the screening, Jackson native Chris Pigott, senior vice president at DKC, the public relations firm for the film, will share his experience working alongside Ken Burns and other filmmakers during its creation.
