Join us for a Writing With Nature Workshop at 8:30 a.m. on Friday, April 19, at the Eudora Welty House & Garden (EWHG). Tammy Greer, folk artist, native plant advocate, and The University of Southern Mississippi professor, will lead a guided nature walk through the Belhaven Mountain Bike trails highlighting native, culturally significant plants, and the stories behind them. After the walk, visitors will come to EWHG for refreshments and a writing prompt led by Michael Pickard, Eudora Welty Chair of Southern Literature and English at Millsaps College, followed by time to write and create in the Welty Garden. There is no fee to attend this program, but registration is required. Register here. For more information, call 601-353-7762 or email info@eudoraweltyhouse.com.
