Harvest Floral Design Workshop

Join us for the Harvest Floral Design Workshop at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday, September 25, at the Eudora Welty House & Garden. Floral supplies, wine, and light refreshments will be provided for a fee of $25. Registration is required with a limited number of seats. Prepay over the phone by calling the Welty House front desk. Ghosts in the Garden Scavenger Hunt

Join a monthlong scavenger hunt in the Eudora Welty House & Garden. Kids and kids-at-heart are invited to go on a Ghosts in the Garden Scavenger Hunt throughout the month of October. Visitors can pick up a scavenger hunt sheet from the Little Free Library.

Yoga in the Welty Garden
October 14, 2025, 5:30 pm - 6:00 pm

Bring your mats for free, weekly, adult yoga on Tuesdays, September 30 through October 28, from 5:30 to 6 p.m. Certified yoga instructor Maya Morris will lead these classes, beginning with an intention based on a quote from Eudora Welty's writing.

Welty Wednesdays

Join the Eudora Welty House & Garden (EWHG) for Welty Wednesdays beginning Wednesday, January 8. In honor of 1119 Pinehurst Street's 100-year anniversary, free admission will be offered every Wednesday, in addition to the long-standing tradition of free admission on the 13th of each month honoring Welty’s April 13 birthday.
