Margaret Walker & Eudora Welty: Remembering Medgar Evers

On Wednesday, March 23, at 11:30 a.m. the Eudora Welty House & Garden, in partnership with the Margaret Walker Center and Mississippi Humanities Council, will present a conversation on Eudora Welty and Margaret Walker Alexander's writings about civil rights activist Medgar Evers. Guest speakers for the event will be Robert Luckett, director of the Margaret Walker Center, and Ebony Lumumba, chair of the English department at Jackson State University.
